La Pola Project- To Launch 2012, Have You Signed Up?

This is a project for girls and women from 16-24 years old. It is inspired by the Colombian revolutionary heroine of the 1800's, Policarpa, La Pola, for short. This project is part of a bigger movement to inspire young Latinas and 20'somethings, to ignite their revolutionary spirit, to embrace the strength of the feminine and hone in and balance the power of the necessary masculine energy. This is not my pitch to fund this program. I'm closer to bringing all the elements together for that, but for now, I wanted to share what's in the works. My hope is that we can launch a small pilot program by March 2012 or sooner!

If you are a parent or a young woman and are interested in having your daughter or yourself be one of the first to take part in this project or if you have questions, please feel free to contact me using the contact form or calling me directly and leaving a detailed message if possible. The Pilot Program will only be taking a small group of girls, 10 to be exact. We will have fundraising efforts to defer costs, and it is my intention to have at least one full scholarship for an applicant based on hardship and submitted essay.

Education 6: Body/Mind connection- Yin/Yang Balance of the Masculine
Education 7: Managing Emotions, Meditation, & Deliberate Living
Education 8: Positive Minds, Powerful Warriors, & Revolutionary Spirits

You have nothing to lose by submitting your information to the waiting list. The 10 spots for the launch in 2012 are primarily first come first serve, but each applicant will have a meeting with the team to assess fit for the program or be recommended for a more appropriate program.
